Law Clerk / Assistant - Ottawa Office - September 2021

We are hiring a Law Clerk / Assistant ideally with experience in handling insurance and personal injury litigation matters on both the plaintiff and defence side. This opportunity is for a position with our Ottawa office.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Relevant College Diploma as well as related work experience with a law firm.
  • Thorough understanding of the litigation process.
  • Experience working a case from start to finish.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities and schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.  Bilingualism is preferred.
  • Superior interpersonal skills.
  • Professionalism, respect for confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with electronic document management software is an asset.
